Testing the AI assistant planning block

The Plan your stay with your AI assistant block on your property site lets guests ask an AI assistant about a home. You can test it yourself and check that the answers match what is described below.

Testing from a property page.

  1. Open one of your property pages.
  2. Click Plan with ChatGPT.
  3. Ask a dated question, such as "Is this home free October 12 to 15, and roughly what per night?"
  4. Ask a follow-up with different dates to confirm that the assistant re-checks the calendar each time.

What a correct response looks like. The assistant reads the property’s published availability calendar, names which nights are open or blocked, and gives the indicative nightly rate. It never quotes a total, and it sends you back to the property page to book.

Testing from the home page or a search page. From these pages, the prompt carries your site’s full catalog rather than a single property. The assistant can list homes, but it may say availability is unverified until it opens a specific property’s feed. This is expected behavior.

Other assistants. Plan with Claude requires a Claude sign-in, and the prompt is prefilled after you sign in. For Gemini, the block shows a Copy this prompt button; you copy the prompt and paste it into Gemini manually.

Nightly rates and pricing settings. Nightly rates only appear if your module settings have pricing published. With pricing turned off, the assistant can see availability but not rates, and the block’s copy reflects that.
