You edit a property directly in WordPress, and later your changes are replaced with the original values.
Why this happens. The Auto Synchronize toggle only controls a scheduled full re-sync sweep. Separately from that toggle, HomeRunner pushes real-time updates whenever a listing changes in your PMS, and an hourly job picks up new listings. These updates always run to keep rates and availability current for booking, so values edited directly in WordPress are overwritten no matter how the toggle is set.
Make changes in your PMS. The durable place to change property data such as the name, type, or pricing is your PMS. Whatever you set there flows through to your site and stays. Pricing should match your PMS exactly, because booking quotes come live from the PMS. A hand-edited display price would show your guests a rate that does not match what they are charged at checkout.
Protect specific fields from syncing. If you need certain WordPress fields to survive syncing, use the field-level controls.
- In WordPress admin, open HomeRunner Settings.
- Go to the Sync tab and scroll to the Fields section.
- Find the three checkbox lists: Property Update (Sync) – Fields, Property Update (Webhook) – Fields, and Property Update (Admin) – Fields.
- Uncheck the category you want to protect, such as Pricing, in all three lists.
Sync then stops touching those fields, while availability, photos, and other property data continue syncing normally. Note on pricing: prices shown inside the availability calendar and the totals quoted at checkout always come from PMS data. Manual WordPress price edits only affect prices rendered from WordPress content, such as the listing-card display price.
Show a different property name. To display a property name on your site that differs from the one your PMS holds internally, go to Settings, then Sync, then Source Mapping, and map a PMS custom field to the property title. The display name then lives in a custom field in your PMS and survives every sync.
