Setting up Google Search Console

To set up Google Search Console, add your site as a property and verify it through Google Analytics.

  1. In Google Search Console, signed in with your own Google account, add your full site URL (https://yourdomain.com/) as a URL-prefix property.
  2. Choose the Google Analytics verification method.

If you are an administrator on the site’s Google Analytics property and the Analytics tag is already on the site, verification completes with no changes needed to the site.
