Giving a developer or team member access

Each person who works on your website, such as a developer or team member, gets their own account.

To request an account, send support the person’s full name, email address, and what they need to do on the site. Support creates the account and delivers the login securely. The person receives:

  1. Their own password, through a one-time link that destroys itself after viewing.
  2. The private login address.
  3. Instructions for setting up their own 6-digit authenticator code.

Why not share your own login. Browser sessions expire, and the 6-digit security code is tied to a single phone. A shared login eventually cuts off whoever is not holding that phone. Separate accounts also mean that removing someone’s access later does not disturb anyone else’s.
