If a destination landing page shows every property instead of only the homes in that location, the property section needs a destination filter, and each property needs the correct destination tag.
Tag each property. Each property needs to carry the correct destination tag in HomeRunner. In your WordPress admin, go to Properties, check the Location or City field on each property, and confirm every home is tagged with the right destination.
Filter the property section.
- In the page builder, open the property section.
- Add a destination filter to the HomeRunner explorer shortcode. Use an attribute like city="frisco" or location="broken-bow", where the value is the destination’s slug.
- To include multiple destinations in one section, separate the slugs with commas.
Filter the Browse button. Point the Browse button to the property list URL with the same filter as a query parameter, for example https://yoursite.com/properties/?city=frisco. The property list page reads that parameter and shows only the matching homes.
Featured homes. Featured homes sort first by default, so a location-filtered section automatically leads with that destination’s featured properties. If you also apply a "featured only" setting to a section whose destination has no featured homes, the section appears empty. Use the location filter on its own unless you know featured homes exist for that destination.
