Last-minute deals page with Auto Tags

You can build a page such as "Last-Minute Deals" or "Open Soon" that updates on its own as your availability changes. You do this with the Auto Tags module in the HomeRunner Toolkit.

Version requirement. The Auto Tags module was rebuilt in Toolkit version 3.291.0. To get the full feature set, make sure you are running Toolkit 3.291.0 or later. The current version is 3.341.1.

Creating the tag.

  1. In your WordPress admin, open HomeRunner, then Toolkit, and enable Auto Tags.
  2. Click to add a new rule, and choose the Last-minute openings starting point, or start from scratch.
  3. Give the tag a guest-facing name, such as "Open Soon".
  4. Set the arrival window, for example "in the next 14 days".
  5. Leave the minimum nights field empty if you want each property’s own minimum stay setting to apply.
  6. Save the rule.

How the tag stays current. The module tags matching homes within a few seconds. It then re-checks automatically every hour and after each property sync, so the tag follows your calendar without any manual work. The panel shows a live preview of the guest-facing chip and a status strip that tells you how many homes currently carry the tag.

Showing the homes on a page. Copy the explorer shortcode the panel provides, for example [homerunner-explorer tag="open-soon"], and paste it onto your page. The page shows the matching homes in the full search view, with the filter bar and the map.

You can rename the tag at any time from the same panel without breaking the page.
