The line of text under the property name on each property card is the card subtitle. You control what it shows from WordPress.
Where to change it. Go to HomeRunner > Explorer settings and find Subtitle source. By default it is set to Post excerpt, which is your listing’s main summary from your PMS (in Guesty, the Summary from the Primary marketing description). You can switch it to None, Post title, Nickname, Public name, City, State, Country, or any custom field that syncs from your PMS.
Setting a fallback. Alternate Subtitle source sets a fallback for properties where the first choice is empty.
Getting a short, controlled line. The cleanest approach is a dedicated custom field:
- In your PMS, set up a dedicated custom field and fill it with the subheading you want.
- In Explorer settings, pick that field as the Subtitle source.
- Keep Post excerpt as the Alternate Subtitle source.
Guesty note. The Airbnb-only and VRBO-only titles and descriptions are channel-specific in Guesty and are not available to HomeRunner. Only the Primary set and custom fields sync.
