The terms and cancellation policy shown during booking checkout are separate from your site’s public Terms page.
Where to edit them. Checkout terms live in the HomeRunner plugin’s Reservation Settings in WordPress admin: wp-admin > HomeRunner > Reservation Settings. The relevant fields are Cancellation Policy, Rental Agreement, and the Rental Agreement checkbox label.
Formatting. Content in these fields is HTML, so paste formatted text or wrap your paragraphs in p tags. Plain pasted line breaks do not render as paragraphs.
Property-level overrides. A property can carry its own Rental Agreement or Cancellation Policy on the property itself. That version overrides the global field for that property’s checkout.
Placeholders are not filled in. The fields are static text. A placeholder such as [Max Guests] is not filled in automatically and shows to guests exactly as typed.
