The rate comparison widget does not show live rates from Airbnb, Vrbo, or any other OTA. It does not poll or scrape OTA prices.
How the estimate is calculated. The widget takes your own direct rate and multiplies it by a configurable per-channel markup percentage that you control. Each channel (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia) has its own adjustable percentage, so you can tune the comparison to reflect the fees those channels typically add on top of a direct booking.
What your guests see. The widget displays a fine-print disclosure that makes clear the figures are estimates, along the lines of "Estimates based on typical OTA fees. Actual rates may vary."
