Custom property types from a Guesty field

You can show your own apartment categories in the search filter instead of the default property types. The website can read a listing custom field from Guesty as the property type.

1. In Guesty, create a listing custom field (for example "Website Property Type").
2. On each listing, enter the label guests should see (for example "Studio", "One bedroom Apartment", "Family Apartment"). Use one value per listing.
3. Tell support the field name. Support points your connection’s property type at that field and runs a sync.

After the sync, each listing carries its category, and the search filter offers those values. A listing with the field left blank keeps its default type.
