You can show the Featured Homes property grid on your homepage as a carousel or slider without custom code. The HomeRunner for Hostaway property list has a built-in slider template.
In the YOOtheme builder. In the element, set Template to "Slider".
In a shortcode. Change "template=grid" to "template=slider".
Optional settings. "autoplay=1" turns on autoplay. "autoplay_interval=4000" sets the time between slides in milliseconds. "infinite_slider=1" makes the slider loop continuously.
The slider uses the same property cards. It shows three per view on desktop and one per view on phones, with swipe and previous and next arrows.
Example shortcode: [homeaway-explorer template=slider autoplay=1 autoplay_interval=4000 infinite_slider=1 map=0 filter=0 featured=1]
