If a saved link to one of your properties opens a Page Not Found page instead of the property page, the old web address no longer points to a live page.
Why this happens. The property’s page URL has usually changed, for example after the listing title was edited, or the saved link is simply out of date. The current, working property page URL is the one shown when you open that property from your website’s browse or search page.
How to fix it. Two steps fix this for good.
- Send support the broken link and the correct property page URL. Support can add a redirect so the old link automatically forwards to the current property page, which keeps working any links that are already shared elsewhere.
- Update the saved link on that listing in your PMS to the current property page URL, so new guest messages and listings point straight to the right page.
