Revyoos Review Sync pulls the reviews your Revyoos account collects from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Google, and other sites into your HomeRunner site, so they show up wherever your site already displays reviews.
What it does #
If you use Revyoos to collect guest reviews from several booking and review sites, those reviews live in your Revyoos account. Revyoos Review Sync copies them into your HomeRunner site as regular review posts. It brings in whichever reviews your Revyoos account collects, such as those from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com and Google.
Each imported review keeps the guest name, the date, the star rating, the source site (for example Airbnb), the review text, and your reply if you wrote one. Every review is linked to the right property, so it appears anywhere your site already shows reviews: property pages, Review Display, Review Showcase, Property Rating Stats, and the Reviews Page.
Revyoos Review Sync is optional and off until you switch it on. If you only have a spreadsheet of past reviews, use the Review Importer instead.
Setting it up #
1. Create an API key in Revyoos #
In your Revyoos dashboard, go to Account, then API Access, and generate an API key. Revyoos shows the key only once, so copy it right away. Your Revyoos plan needs to include Partner API access. If it does not, Revyoos answers with an “access not included” message, and you can ask Revyoos to turn it on for your account.
2. Connect the key #
In the HomeRunner Toolkit Hub, open Review Tools and switch on Revyoos Review Sync. Paste the key into the panel and save. Then click Test Connection. It tells you how many properties Revyoos can see. If the key is wrong, you see an invalid-key message.
3. Match your properties #
Click Load Properties from Revyoos. Each Revyoos property is matched to a property on your site by name. Check the matches, correct any that are wrong, and click Save Mapping. A property you leave unmatched is skipped, and the summary after each sync lists it.
4. Run the first sync #
Click Sync Now. The reviews are created as HomeRunner review posts and linked to their properties.
5. Keep it current #
Turn on Sync twice a day automatically to bring in new reviews and new replies without any further work.
Good to know #
- Your Revyoos plan must include Partner API access before the connection works.
- Running a sync again never creates duplicates. A review that is already on your site is recognized and left alone.
- If you add a reply in Revyoos after a review was imported, the reply is filled in only when the review on your site has no response yet. A reply you edited on your site is never overwritten.
- A review that has a star rating but no written text is not imported.
- Imported reviews carry the review source “revyoos”. They stay on your site when the HomeRunner plugin runs its own review sync with your booking platform.
- Because the reviews are normal review posts, you can hide any of them with Review Visibility.
