HomeRunner Toolkit is an add-on for your HomeRunner site that bundles dozens of focused upgrades to search, maps, reviews, branding, and checkout. Turn on only the features you want from one place.
What Toolkit is #
Toolkit installs on top of your HomeRunner site and adds optional features you can switch on individually. Each feature is a small, self-contained module with its own on/off toggle and, where relevant, its own settings panel. You are never forced to use a feature you do not want.
Everything lives in one screen: the Toolkit Hub, under the HomeRunner menu in your WordPress admin. From there you enable a module, open its settings if it has any, and the change takes effect on your live site.
Opening the Hub lands you on an overview screen, not a module: a card for each category showing how many of its modules are turned on, with quick links into each one. If a module needs attention, such as a failed Spreadsheet Custom Fields sync or a review-request email at risk of not sending, a colored badge appears on its card and jumps you straight to the module where you fix it.
The Hub sidebar groups modules into sections you can collapse and expand, and it remembers which sections you keep open. Every module also shows a Help docs link that opens its guide in this knowledge base.
Toolkit also curates the shared HomeRunner menu itself, the WordPress admin sidebar entries contributed by every HomeRunner plugin you run, into task-based groups instead of one long flat list. See Admin Menu for how that sidebar is organized.

Search and discovery #
Help guests find the right property faster.
- Searchbar Pro gives you a refined, conversion-focused search bar.
- Flexible Search returns useful results even when an exact match is not available.
- Property Map Display polishes how your property map looks and behaves on desktop and mobile.
- Map Controls cleans up your explorer map’s control buttons into a modern, Airbnb-style layout, and lets you resize how much of the results page the map takes up on desktop.
- Map All Pins shows every home that matches a guest’s search on the explorer map, not just the ones loaded on the current page.
- Mobile Explorer turns your mobile search results into a full-screen, map-first experience.
- Destination Filter replaces the plain Locations dropdown with a tabbed “Find Your Destination” popup.
- Destination Search is a single search bar you can drop into a hero or landing page, so guests can jump straight to a destination without opening the full destination filter.
- Bathroom Display shows full and half bathroom counts separately on each property.
- Unit Grouping collapses identical listings into one search result so duplicate units do not crowd the grid.
- Destination Index builds a directory of your destinations that powers destination search suggestions, including the Nearby option in Searchbar Pro.
- Property Page Section Nav pins a quick-jump menu to the top of your property pages once a guest scrolls into the listing, so long pages with rooms, amenities, rates, and reviews stay easy to navigate.
- Internal Property Search gives your own team a private way to look up any property by PMS name, unit ID, address, or post ID.
- Guest Picker gives guests a clean adults, children, and pets selector with per-property rules.
Guest reviews #
Collect, import, and showcase reviews that build trust.
