Questions

Where do I put this on my site?

Inside the listing page's HTML, in a script tag of type application/ld+json. On WordPress the easiest places are Rank Math's custom schema, a code snippet plugin scoped to that page, or your theme's page header field. Paste one block per listing page.

Will this get my listings into Google's vacation rental results?

It's one of the requirements. Google also asks for at least eight photos per listing, a stable identifier, coordinates to five decimal places, and an eligibility step through its hotel and vacation rental program. The block this tool builds satisfies the markup part.

What does Google require, and what's optional?

Required: the name, one or more images, a stable identifier, latitude and longitude, and an Accommodation with its maximum occupancy. Recommended: the property type, address, rating, brand, check-in and check-out times, beds, bedrooms and bathrooms, and amenities from Google's list. The form marks the required ones.

Can I use it for an Airbnb or Vrbo listing?

Structured data goes on pages you control. It helps a listing page on your own website. It can't change how Airbnb or Vrbo present your home on theirs.
