Installing Homerunner Plugin

This guide walks you through the process of installing the Homerunner Plugin on your WordPress website.

Prerequisites #

Before installing, ensure you have:

  • An active Homerunner subscription
  • Access to your WordPress admin dashboard
  • WordPress version 5.0 or higher

Installation Steps #

  1. Download the Plugin
    • Log in to your Homerunner Customer Dashboard
    • Navigate to the Downloads section
    • Locate the Homerunner Plugin
    • Click “Download” to get the ZIP file
  2. Install via WordPress Dashboard
    • Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
    • Go to Plugins > Add New
    • Click the “Upload Plugin” button at the top
    • Click “Choose File” and select the downloaded ZIP file
    • Click “Install Now”
    • After installation completes, click “Activate Plugin”
  3. Alternative Manual Installation
    • Upload the plugin ZIP file to your server via FTP
    • Extract the ZIP file in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
    • Log in to WordPress admin
    • Go to Plugins
    • Find “Homerunner Plugin” in the list
    • Click “Activate”

Post-Installation #

After installation:

  1. The Homerunner menu will appear in your WordPress dashboard
  2. You’ll be prompted to enter your API key
