# Booking widget broken after enabling WP Rocket

If your booking widget stops working after you enable WP Rocket, the cause is WP Rocket's default settings. WP Rocket is fully compatible with HomeRunner once a few settings are adjusted.

**What to change.**

1. Exclude HomeRunner's scripts from JavaScript optimization. In WP Rocket under **File Optimization**, add the HomeRunner plugin path and its UIkit/jQuery script handles to the exclusion lists for both **Delay JavaScript Execution** and the **JS Minify/Combine** options.
2. Set the cache lifespan to 12 hours. With a longer lifespan, the booking calendar can serve stale tokens and start throwing errors.
3. Never cache the HomeRunner REST endpoints. Add the HomeRunner REST routes to WP Rocket's **Never Cache URL(s)** list.
4. If you use a CDN, including WP Rocket's own CDN, add the same never-cache rules there. WP Rocket's exclusions do not automatically propagate to a CDN, Cloudflare, or a host-level cache.

The exact strings to paste are in the guide: [https://homerunner.io/docs/using-wp-rocket-with-homerunner-2/](https://homerunner.io/docs/using-wp-rocket-with-homerunner-2/)

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
