# HomeRunner conversion tracking and your GTM tags

HomeRunner's container reads the same dataLayer push as your GTM container on the confirmation page, but it sends data only to HomeRunner's own analytics property. Your GTM tags fire independently, based on your own triggers.

**Duplicate conversions.** Page refreshes can cause duplicate conversions. To avoid them, configure your GTM tags to dedupe on **transaction_id** where the platform supports it.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
