# Guesty guest-count fees above listing capacity

A Guesty fee triggered by guest count never applies to online bookings if its threshold is above the listing's guest capacity.

**Why this happens.** Your website's guest picker stops at the listing's guest capacity, so guests booking online can never reach the threshold.

**What you can do.** To handle extra-guest charges, choose one option:

1. Raise the listing's capacity and use Guesty's extra guest fee for guests above a set count.
2. Convert the fee to a flat fee.
