# Narrow search bar on the listings page

On a listings page that shows a map beside the results, the search bar is narrower than the full-width search bar on your home page.

**Why this happens.** In this view, the search bar shares its row with the map, so it cannot extend to full width. This is a layout constraint of the map-plus-results view.
