# Locked Guests tab in Conversion Kit Insights

The **Guests** tab in Conversion Kit Insights shows a lock icon instead of guest data.

**Why this happens.** Insights is included with every Conversion Kit install, and the **Activity** and **Attribution** tabs work fully without a license. The **Guests** tab contains the Guest Identity layer, which includes identified guest profiles, per-guest visit timelines, engagement cohorts, and the guest CSV export. This layer requires a Conversion Kit license.

**What you can do.** Add your license key under **Conversion Kit → License**. Access is granted immediately. Any guest profiles built before you add the license are preserved, so no historical data is lost.
