# Meta Pixel firing duplicate events

If your Meta Pixel fires duplicate PageView events and counts bookings twice, the pixel base code is loading from more than one source at the same time. For example, it may load from a header snippet (such as Insert Headers and Footers or WPCode) and also from a GTM Custom HTML tag.

When you enable the HomeRunner Toolkit's native Meta Pixel integration, you must remove every other copy of the pixel base code:

1. Pause the GTM Purchase tag before enabling the native integration, so no booking is counted twice during the switch.
2. Delete or disable any header or footer snippet that loads the pixel.
3. Pause any GTM Custom HTML tags that call the pixel, including separate Purchase and Lead tags.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
