# Instagram feed not showing latest post

Your website's Instagram feed does not yet show a post you recently published, or the posts appear in a different order than on your Instagram profile.

**Why this happens.** The Instagram feed is powered by Elfsight, which pulls posts from your Instagram account on its own refresh schedule. A brand-new post can take some time to appear. The website does not control this schedule and cannot force the feed to update.

**Pinned posts.** Pinned posts appear at the top of your Instagram profile, but the feed displays them in their original date order. A pinned older post does not appear first on your site.

**Stories.** Stories are not included in the feed.

If a specific post still seems to be missing, share the direct link to that post with support, and support can check what the feed is doing with it.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
