# Google Map not loading on property pages

If the Google Map on your property pages shows a grey box or does not load, Google Maps reports the specific reason in the browser console.

**To find the error:**

1. Open the property page.
2. Press F12, or right-click and choose **Inspect**.
3. Open the **Console** tab.
4. Look for a line beginning `Google Maps JavaScript API error:`.

**What the error means.** The most common error is `BillingNotEnabledMapError`. This means your API key is installed correctly, but your Google Cloud project needs an active billing account attached. Other error codes, such as `RefererNotAllowedMapError`, `ApiNotActivatedMapError`, or `InvalidKeyMapError`, point to different issues with key restrictions, API activation, or key validity.
