# Advance-notice tooltip missing on blocked dates

Your custom advance-notice message does not appear when you hover some dates on your calendar.

**Why this happens.** The custom advance-notice message only appears on dates that are open but fall inside the notice window. Dates that are already booked or blocked in your PMS show the standard 'Sorry, you've selected a date that is unavailable' message instead, regardless of your custom tooltip setting.

**Checking your notice window.** To confirm your notice window is working correctly:

1. Open a property that has open dates in the next few days.
2. Hover the earliest open date inside the notice window.
3. Check that the date shows your custom message.
