# Removed listing still receiving bookings

You removed a listing from your website, but it is still receiving bookings.

**Why this happens.** Your website's booking engine can only sell listings that are active in its connected inventory feed. Removing a listing from the website does not retire the listing in your PMS, and it does not disconnect that listing from other sales channels. Old listings commonly keep selling through channels that are still attached to them, most often Airbnb or Vrbo, or through your PMS's own hosted booking engine.

**Confirm where a booking came from.** Open the reservation in Hostaway and check its **channel** field, shown on the reservation detail. It names the source directly, for example "Airbnb" or "Booking engine." Website bookings and channel bookings are labeled differently, so one look tells you which it is.

**Stop the bookings.**

1. Check the old listing in Hostaway for existing confirmed future reservations, and rehouse or honor those guests first.
2. Retire the old listing in Hostaway.
3. Unlist it from every channel it is still connected to (Airbnb, Vrbo, the Hostaway booking engine).

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
