# Turning on property page schema markup

Your property pages do not include structured data (schema markup).

**Why this happens.** HomeRunner generates VacationRental structured data on every property page, but the feature is off by default. SEO plugins such as Rank Math do not add schema to the property post type on their own, so this HomeRunner setting is the one that controls it.

**Turning it on.** To enable property schema:

1. Go to **HomeRunner Settings**.
2. Select the **Properties** tab.
3. Enable the property schema option.
4. Save.

**What is included.** The structured data covers accommodation details, geo coordinates, bed details, and offer data. The VacationRental JSON-LD block includes Accommodation, GeoCoordinates, and BedDetails nested inside it. Organization and LocalBusiness schema for the site as a whole still come from your SEO plugin.

**FAQ schema.** FAQ schema is handled separately. Build your FAQ page using your SEO plugin's FAQ block (for example the Rank Math FAQ block) so it emits FAQPage schema.

**Checking that it works.** Load any property page, view the page source, and look for a script tag of type application/ld+json containing "@type":"VacationRental". You can also run the URL through Google's Rich Results Test to confirm the structured data is detected.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
