# HomeRunner plugins not showing update notices

On your self-hosted WordPress site, the HomeRunner Toolkit, Conversion Kit, or AI Concierge plugins may never show an update notification, even when newer versions exist.

**Why this happens.** Older versions of these plugins check for updates against a source they cannot read. They silently never find any updates and never report a problem. There is no error and no notice, and the **Plugins** screen looks entirely normal.

**Current versions.** This is fixed in current versions, which use the normal WordPress update mechanism. Once your site is brought up to a current version one time, the plugins behave like any other WordPress plugin from then on. New versions appear under **Plugins** with the usual update notice, and you update them from there.

**What you can do.** If your plugins are stuck on an old version, contact support. The one-time update has to be delivered by HomeRunner support. You cannot resolve it from the **Plugins** screen, because the old versions cannot see that newer ones exist.
