# Reviews Page search box and topic chips missing

If the keyword search box or the **Guests mention** topic chips do not appear on your Reviews Page, your HomeRunner Toolkit version or the review index is usually the cause.

**Why this happens.** Both features require HomeRunner Toolkit version 3.309.2 or newer. The keyword search box was introduced in 3.308.11 and the topic chips in 3.309.2. After you update, the Toolkit builds a review index in the background, and the search box and chips stay hidden until that index finishes. On most sites this takes under a minute. Sites with tens of thousands of reviews may take a few minutes longer.

**What you can do.**

1. Go to **Plugins → Installed Plugins**, check your Toolkit version, and apply any available update.
2. Wait for the review index to finish building.
3. If your site uses a page cache such as SiteGround Optimizer, WP Rocket, or a host-level cache, purge it once after the index completes so the page serves the updated layout.

**Adjusting the features.** Both features are enabled by default. To change them, go to **WordPress admin → HomeRunner → Reviews Page**. The **Search** section lets you turn the search box on or off and set the placeholder text. The **Topic chips** section lets you turn chips on or off and set how many are shown (1 to 12).

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
