# Properties missing from ChatGPT and Claude answers

When you ask an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude an open question like "dog-friendly cabin with a hot tub for 8," your properties may not appear in the answer.

**Why this happens.** Two separate things decide this. The first is whether an assistant can read your properties once it reaches your site. The **AI Booking Channel** handles this part. The second is whether the assistant's search finds your site for an open question in the first place. This depends on how well your site is indexed by Google, Bing, and the search engines each assistant uses. Indexing takes several weeks on a new domain.

A site that is five weeks old may not yet appear in an assistant's open-ended search results, even if your property feeds are fully readable.
