# More properties on site than in your PMS

Your WordPress site can show more vacation rental properties than are active in your property management system (PMS).

**Why this happens.** When you deactivate a property in your PMS, the sync that keeps your WordPress site up to date does not automatically unpublish or remove that property's listing page. The page stays published and visible on your site even though the property is no longer active for booking. This is a known limitation of how the sync handles deactivations.

**What you can do.** Unpublish or remove the extra listing pages in WordPress. Once those pages are gone, the property count on your site matches the active property list in your PMS.
