# Where filter shows ‘No items found’

When you open the **Where** dropdown in the search bar, it shows 'No items found' even though you have published properties with cities.

**Why this happens.** The **Where** dropdown does not list cities automatically. It only shows cities and locations you have explicitly selected in the **HomeRunner Explorer** settings. If none are selected, the dropdown has nothing to display and shows 'No items found'.

**How to fix it.**

1. In WordPress admin, open the **HomeRunner Explorer** settings.
2. Find the term selectors for **City** and **Location**.
3. Select the cities (and locations, if you use them) you want guests to filter by, then save.
4. Reload a page with the search bar and open the **Where** dropdown.

**Good to know.** Only cities with at least one published property appear. The dropdown hides empty terms, so selecting 14 cities may render only 8 buttons if some have no published properties yet.

A city that exists on your properties but was never selected in the settings does not appear. If a guest cannot filter to a location you expect, check the selected-terms list before assuming the properties are misconfigured.

The same logic applies to the **Type** and **Amenity** filters, which have their own term selectors on the same settings screen.
