# Site-wide search and Guesty changeover day rules

The site-wide search box on your HomeRunner site does not apply the day-of-week check-in restrictions you set in Guesty. If a guest enters a restricted day, they see no results.

**Why this happens.** The site-wide search queries across all properties at once and is not tied to any single listing's calendar, so it cannot apply per-listing weekday arrival or departure rules. The per-listing availability calendar on each property page does apply these rules correctly.

**What you can do.** If all your properties share the same changeover days, the most reliable approach is to direct guests to browse properties and choose dates on the property page.
