# Search bar guest picker stops at 16

The guest picker in your search bar stops at 16 guests, even though one of your properties sleeps more.

**Why this happens.** Older versions of the search bar use a fixed 16-guest ceiling. As of HomeRunner Toolkit 3.240.10, the ceiling comes from your own inventory. By default, the picker stops at the largest guest count any of your published properties can host. Adults and children share that one total, so your guests can split a group across the two rows any way they like.

**Check your guest counts.** Make sure each property's maximum guest count is filled in at your property management system, since that is what the ceiling reads.

**Remove the ceiling.** To remove the ceiling entirely:

1. Open the **Search Bar** settings page in WordPress.
2. Under **Behavior**, find the **Guest picker cap** option.
3. Choose **No cap**.
4. Save.

**If the old limit still shows.** The ceiling refreshes on its own every few hours. If the picker still shows the old limit after you update the plugin, use the **Flush caches** button on the same settings page.
