# Checkout text not translating on multilingual sites

On a multilingual site, the checkout checkbox or policy text can stay in your default language when visitors browse in a different language.

**Why this happens.** GTranslate translates the page content it serves. Custom text saved in your HomeRunner settings, such as checkbox labels, policy text, and button labels, is a stored literal value that the translation layer does not rewrite.

**What you can do.** HomeRunner support can add a per-language override for that setting so the correct wording shows in each language. To set this up, send support the name of the setting and the translations you want applied, or ask support to translate from your default text.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
