# Booking sidebar appears below the description

On a property page, the booking sidebar shows up below the property description instead of in its own column beside it.

**Why this happens.** A text field that renders on the property page contains HTML with an unclosed tag. Most often this is a bold tag like `<strong>text` with no `</strong>`. Browsers treat everything that follows, including the sidebar, as part of that open tag, and the page grid loses its column layout. The field is usually a custom field in your PMS that holds notes or house rules. These fields accept HTML and are often pasted across multiple listings.

**How to fix it.**

1. Open the affected property in your PMS and check any custom field or description that renders on the website.
2. Find the unclosed tag. In your browser, view the page source and count `<strong>` versus `</strong>` occurrences. If the numbers differ, one is missing. The same applies to `<b>`, `<em>`, `<i>`, and `<u>`.
3. Add the missing closing tag (or remove the formatting) and save. If the same text was pasted across many listings, fix each one.

The website updates on the next sync.

**HomeRunner Toolkit 3.228.0 and later.** If your site runs the HomeRunner Toolkit version 3.228.0 or later, the **Custom Field HTML Repair** module closes these tags automatically on sync and on display, so a missing `</strong>` can no longer break the layout. It only closes basic formatting tags that were left open and never removes or rewrites your content.
