# AI Concierge reports empty OpenRouter balance

The AI Concierge reports that your OpenRouter balance is empty, even though you have added credit in OpenRouter.

**Why this happens.** OpenRouter keeps your personal account separate from workspace accounts, and a credit purchase goes to whichever account is selected when you pay. If your API key belongs to your workspace, credit added to your personal account does not count toward it.

**What to do.**

1. In OpenRouter, check which account is active in the account switcher.
2. Select the workspace your API key was created under.
3. Add the credit, and set up auto top-up, on that same workspace.

The Concierge starts answering again as soon as the funded balance is above zero. You do not need to change anything on the website side.
