# Sync now completes with no visible change

**Sync now** finishes within seconds, but your listings do not change right away.

**Why this happens.** **Sync now** schedules the work and reports the batch as completed as soon as every listing has been queued. The individual listings then update in the background over the next several minutes.

Give one sync time to finish before starting another to see the results.
