# Search filter returns no properties

When you select one of the amenities in the **Filters** panel, the search returns zero properties.

**Why this happens.** The filter is working correctly. It returns no results because no listing on your site currently has that amenity. The amenity list shown in the **Filters** panel is chosen separately from the amenities your listings actually use, so an amenity can be exposed as a filter option even when none of your properties has been tagged with it.

**What you can do.** You have two options:

1. Hide the unused filter from the exposed filter list.
2. Add the amenity to the relevant properties in your PMS. The filter then shows results after the next sync.
