# Property page shows a higher minimum stay

Your property page shows a longer minimum stay than the one your guests hit when booking near-term dates in your PMS.

**Why this happens.** The booking widget can source the displayed minimum stay two ways, controlled in wp-admin under **HomeRunner → Settings → Booking Widget → Minimum Stay Source**. **Property default** shows a single property-level minimum. If your calendar has minimum nights that vary by season, this can surface a longer seasonal or off-season minimum rather than the one for your nearest dates. **First available date** shows the minimum stay for the soonest bookable dates on your calendar.

**What you can do.** To show the minimum for your next open dates:

1. In wp-admin, go to **HomeRunner → Settings → Booking Widget → Minimum Stay Source**.
2. Set **Minimum Stay Source** to **First available date**.
3. Click **Save Settings**.

The card then reflects the minimum for your next open dates. This is a site-wide display setting and does not change what guests are allowed to book. Date-specific minimums still apply at checkout.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
