# Pre-filtered property page shows other property types

Your pre-filtered property page can show property types other than the ones its filter is set to show.

**Why this happens.** The property explorer keeps the visitor's current search filters in the page URL, for example "?type[]=cabin". Filters carried in the URL take priority over the page's built-in pre-filter. If the page is opened through a link, bookmark, or browser history entry that still contains old filter parameters, it shows those filtered results instead of the page's default.

**How to confirm it.** Look at the address bar. If the URL after the page name contains filter parameters such as "type[]=" or "adults=", that is the cause.

**What you can do.** Open the page by its plain URL, which is everything before the "?", or click the reset or clear control in the search bar. The page's own pre-filter then takes effect again.
