# ”Invalid checkout link” on every booking

Every booking that reaches your checkout page shows **Invalid checkout link** instead of the quote.

**Why this happens.** The HomeRunner API key saved in WordPress belongs to a different HomeRunner account than the one that now owns your PMS connection. Checkout reads the quote using your site's API key, and HomeRunner only returns quotes owned by the same account. This mismatch most often occurs after listings are moved under a partner or agency account, or after an account consolidation.

**To fix it:**

1. Sign in to dashboard.homerunner.io as the account that now owns the connection, open the avatar menu, go to **Settings**, then **API Key**, and copy the key.
2. In WordPress admin, open **HomeRunner**, then **Settings**, find the **Central API key** field, paste the new key, and save.
3. Open a property page, pick dates, click **Book Now**, and confirm the checkout page loads the quote. If the error still appears on the first attempt, wait a minute and try again, as the site briefly caches the previous response.

**Quotes created during the mismatch.** These quotes cannot be recovered, but they expire automatically within 24 hours, and your guests can start a new booking.

If you did not request a connection move and the message appears suddenly, contact HomeRunner support. The connection's owner may have changed on the HomeRunner side, and support can confirm and correct it.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
