# Same-day check-in cutoff message from OwnerRez

Your booking widget shows the message "This property requires same day check in be before 11:00 AM" when a guest tries to book a same-day check-in.

**Why this happens.** This message comes from OwnerRez, not from the website. It is the property's same-day booking cutoff: OwnerRez allows a same-day check-in only if the booking is made before the cutoff time you have set. Selecting any future check-in date quotes normally.

**Allowing same-day bookings later in the day.** In OwnerRez:

1. Go to **Properties > the property > Rules > Change > Booking Window > Lead Time**.
2. Choose **Allow same-day bookings (guests can book today)**.
3. Set your preferred cut-off time.

You can also set this per channel under **Settings > Channel Management > Channel Integrations > your integration > Change > Booking Window & Duration > Lead Time**.

No changes are needed on the website itself, as quotes pass the OwnerRez response through live.
