# Security deposit shown twice on booking page

Your booking page lists the same security deposit twice, each with a different collection date.

**Why this happens.** The booking page mirrors the payment rules from your Hostaway auto-payment policy. When a charge rule is edited in Hostaway, the old version of the rule can temporarily remain on the website alongside the new one. The same deposit then appears twice with conflicting timing.

**What to do.** Contact support with the property name and confirm which rule is correct. Support removes the outdated rule and refreshes the sync. After that, checkout shows only the current rule. If the policy in Hostaway already looks correct, you do not need to change anything there.
