# Keyword search matching nearby amenities

Keyword search results can include homes whose listing only mentions an amenity nearby, such as "tennis courts just 4 minutes away", even though the property has no court on site.

**Why this happens.** Keyword search reads listing text, so a phrase like that causes a home to match the term "tennis court". HomeRunner Toolkit 3.305.54 introduced a nearby-amenity rule to handle this. The search reads the sentence around each match and checks whether the language places the feature near the home rather than at it. Phrases such as "4 minutes away", "nearby", or "available to vacation rental guests" trigger the rule.

**What guests see by default.** Homes with only nearby mentions still appear in results, but their card shows a neutral "Nearby: Tennis courts" badge with the quoted sentence so guests can judge for themselves. Those homes are also removed from the suggested-features counts, so the feature no longer surfaces as something the property offers.

**Removing these homes from results.** If you prefer homes with only nearby mentions to be dropped from results entirely instead of badged, that behavior can be enabled on request. Contact support to have it enabled for your site.

**Version.** The rule is included in every HomeRunner Toolkit release from 3.305.54 onward, including the current public version 3.341.1. If you are on an older version, update the Toolkit.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
