# Property list filter shortcode shows as text

If your page shows the text [hr-property-list-filter] instead of a search box, the shortcode is not rendering on your site.

**Why this happens.** [hr-property-list-filter] is not a shortcode built into the HomeRunner plugin. It is a standalone code snippet that has to be installed separately on a site. On a site without that snippet, WordPress prints the tag as plain text.

**What you can do.** The supported replacement is the **Property Finder** tool in the HomeRunner Conversion Kit. It renders the same "Search by Rental Name" box and takes the visitor straight to the listing they pick.
