# Promo code error on GTranslate translated pages

On translated pages served by GTranslate, a valid promo code can show **An internal error occurred** when your guests apply it.

**Why this happens.** The translation proxy rewrites the page's links, so the booking widget sends the coupon request through the proxy instead of directly to your site. The proxy does not pass the request on.

**How to fix it.**

1. In WordPress, go to **HomeRunner > Settings > Advanced**.
2. Enable the **Force Direct Quote Endpoint** setting, then save.
3. Reload the translated booking page and apply the code again.
