# Floating search bar on interior pages

A floating (sticky) search bar appears on interior pages such as guidebooks, contact, or team pages.

**Why this happens.** The page still uses the older HomeRunner Explorer shortcode in search-bar-only mode, for example `[homerunner-explorer hide_filters_btn=1 primary_filter_fields="where, date, guests, additional-filters" map=0 grid=0]`. That legacy shortcode renders the modern search bar with sticky (floating) behavior enabled by default.

**How to fix it.** Replace each such shortcode with the modern equivalent and set sticky to off: `[homerunner_searchbar_pro mode="hero" instance_id="hero" submit_url="/properties/" sticky="0"]`. Adjust `submit_url` to match your site's property-listing page.

Only swap shortcodes that have `map=0 grid=0` with `primary_filter_fields`. Shortcodes that include `tag=`, `ctid=`, `amenity=`, or `bedrooms_eq=` are property listings. Leave those as they are.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
