# Widgets show a temporary rate limit message

Your widgets show the message "This page is loading a lot of content right now and hit a temporary rate limit. Please wait a few seconds and refresh" instead of loading.

**Why this happens.** This message is HomeRunner's protective throttle. Each widget on a page requests data from HomeRunner, and HomeRunner limits how many requests one visitor's connection can make per minute. Opening several widget-heavy pages back to back, or reloading one page repeatedly from the same connection, can reach that limit. The limit applies to that connection only. Other visitors are unaffected.

**What you can do.** Wait about a minute and refresh the page. The widgets then render normally. When you test your site, avoid rapid repeated reloads of property pages and open one page at a time.

If real visitors report seeing this message during normal browsing, contact support with the page URL and the approximate time it occurred so the per-page request count can be reviewed.
