# Property pages outdated after a plugin update

After a HomeRunner plugin update, your property pages may still look outdated or show the wrong layout.

**Why this happens.** If the standalone HomeRunner Template Customizer plugin is active on your site, it serves its own saved copy of the property-page template. That copy is frozen at the time it was created and does not update when the HomeRunner plugin updates, so template improvements never reach the page.

**What you can do.** Deactivate the HomeRunner Template Customizer plugin by going to **Plugins → Installed Plugins** and deactivating it. Once it is deactivated, the page is served from the current template.

Deactivation is reversible. The plugin's files and saved templates stay on disk.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
